Wednesday, June 2nd - Dedicated Mass
St. Anna's Episcopal Church
1313 Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70116
Please join us in fellowship and a celebration of love. St. Anna's Episcopal Church will offer a dedicated mass in memory of Richard and Mildred Loving - the interracial couple whose 1967 civil rights lawsuit, Loving v. Virginia, ended all race-based legal restrictions on marriage in the United States. The mass will commemorate the Loving’s 63rd wedding anniversary and Loving Day, held annually on June 12th throughout the nation. Please join us for an ice cream social in the church courtyard following the mass. *Mask required. Social distancing will be practiced.
Special thanks to our sponsor Lovepop.
