Sunday, June 12th - Loving Day Mass
St. Anna's Episcopal Church
1313 Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70116
St. Anna's Episcopal Church is hosting a dedicated mass in memory of Richard and Mildred Loving - the interracial couple whose 1967 civil rights lawsuit, Loving v. Virginia, ended all race-based legal restrictions on marriage in the United States. The mass will commemorate the Loving’s 64th wedding anniversary and "Loving Day" held annually on June 12th throughout the nation.
Please join us for fellowship and ice cream in the church courtyard following the mass. Sponsored by the New Orleans Loving Festival & Charitable Film Network. #LoveYall #LovingFestival #CFNnola
