Sunday, June 12th - Loving Day Mass

St. Anna's Episcopal Church is hosting a dedicated mass in memory of Richard and Mildred Loving - the interracial couple whose 1967 civil rights lawsuit, Loving v. Virginia, ended all race-based legal restrictions on marriage in the United States. The mass will commemorate the Loving’s 64th wedding anniversary and "Loving Day" held annually on June 12th throughout the nation.

GiveNOLA Day raises money for the community, brings new donors to local nonprofits, and shows anyone can be a philanthropist.

At San Francisco’s Lowell High School, the kids are stressed out. With a majority Asian American student body, high-achieving seniors share their dreams and anxieties about getting into a top university. But is college worth the grind? (TRT 61 minutes.) There will be a short discussion after the screening.
